POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for scanning documents for Roberts Hawaii archived records and indexing. This individual is also responsible for assisting the Accounts Receivable department with research and adjustments/applications due to the large volume of research and manual tracking required for the Australian accounts, Expedia, etc.

Incumbent may perform any or all of the following:

*Scan and index all Accounting and Administrative documents utilizing scanning equipment and programs provided by the company

*Approximately 500 plus boxes of documents generated per year will require scanning and indexing

*Assist in identifying Accounts Receivable applications and researching payments received

*Assisting Accounts Receivable with research and adjustments/applications due to the large volume of research and manual tracking required for the Australian accounts, Expedia, etc.

*Reconcile Accounts Receivable balances and maintain accurate record-keeping to ensure completeness of Accounts Receivable and payment files

*Assist in preparing and/or posting adjustment entries

*Assist in posting invoices, verifying batches, reviewing edits to ensure all postings are accurate

*Other accounting administrative tasks assigned as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

*Accounting Associates Degree and/or 1-2 years GL accounting experience desirable (not required)

*Able to work full time – Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm

*Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

*PC literate- must be able to utilize / manipulate computer programs – 10 key by touch, mail merge, create spread sheets & formulas, create charts, merge program data

*Able to work with various office machinery (copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.)

*Good analytical skills

*Familiarity with computerized accounting systems
